We don't just build websites — we build relationships.
Now, imagine having a trusted partner who took the time to understand your business, your market, and your goals — someone you could depend on to be there to offer their expertise, answer all of your questions, make your business look fantastic, and not nickel-and-dime you. Say hello to JVM.
We're not just another
web design company.
A few words from our Creative Director...
The year was 1995 and I'd just graduated from UCLA with a degree in art. 22-year-old me didn't know what else to do with a degree in art and a background in photography other than keep freelancing like I had been, or just go ahead and form a new company. I went for the latter, and JVM was born.
Diving right in and doing business with real clients and real projects gave me the type of experience you just can't get from school, and it didn't take long for me to realize that being creative and making something look great doesn't automatically get results for your clients.
Luckily for me (and my clients), I quickly discovered the missing pieces. Design needs to have a purpose. Who is the audience? What are the goals of the project? What action should the design be facilitating in the audience? After combining marketing principals with design, things got a lot busier. I started to build a great team of people and as the technology evolved, so did we.
It goes without saying that when you work with JVM, we guarantee you'll get a modern and technically sound website delivered. However, while building custom websites has been our top service for many years now, the additional services we provide combined with knowledge, expertise, and results, is what makes us so valuable.
Also on top of that, we eliminate stress and worry for our small business clients. Once people work with us, they want to hold on to us! Many of our clients have been with us for 5 or more years, and the very first client we ever built a website for is still a client today.
So, let's talk. No pressure. Let's just sort out what your business goals are, and we'll do our best to find a way to make them reality.

"We chose JV Media to redesign our website, and were completely blown away by the quality of the work they provided! Sherry was very easy to work with, completely understood our vision, and far surpassed our expectations. Our site is now beautiful, easy to navigate, and we have seen an increase in sales as a result. I would highly recommend Sherry and the team at JV Media." – Suzanne Hagins, Horse & Plow

Creative Director: Sherry Holub
I'm a creative problem-solver driven by the desire to see small businesses improve their image and succeed. I've got over 20 years experience and have worked with clients as large as Nike and as small as a local sole-proprietor. I've been an advocate for education, a member of prestigious design organizations, won awards, and been invited to judge design competitions. Over the years, I have also written blogs and articles for a number of online sites and print publications. I have a heavy background in art, photography, graphic design and thinking outside the box.
When not working, you'll find me getting outdoors, practicing Qi Gong, snowboarding, camping, collecting rocks, and driving around in a sweet 1970 Camaro.
Project Management, Content Management, & Jack of All Trades: Jeffrey Smith
Jeffrey keeps things organized and on-task at JVM.
A loose cannon by right of descent, Jeffrey developed a fascination with figuring out anything related to computers precisely because he never even saw one in school. He's been writing for thirty years and bloging for eight, primarily on local history, medieval history, church architecture, and religious art. Jeffrey describes his interests as, "too confounded many for a well-ordered life."
When not keeping order in the JVM office, Jeffrey can be found researching things like Medieval and ancient history, architecture, and European folklore, as well as working on miniature wizard dioramas.
