With the website review service, our expert (who has well over 20 years experience with web design, web development and marketing) will spend some time “getting to know” your site to uncover potential technical issues that could not only be hampering your website’s performance, but also the overall end-user experience (because let’s face it, if your visitors don’t have a great experience on your website, they are going to move on).

This service includes, but is not limited to the following as part of the review process:

  • Review current hosting company and package
  • Review WordPress Theme (or we will determine if the site is built on another platform and what that is)
  • Review WordPress Plugins
  • Check for general usability/easy-of-use
  • Review for clear call(s) to action that align with client goals
  • Run website through Google’s Page Speed Insights and interpret results for both mobile and desktop
  • Run website through additional Page Speed scanner
  • Review images sizes (large and unoptimized images are one of the top reasons for slow page loading)
  • Check for any technical errors in the page headers (code)
  • Check pages for proper page title/heading tags
  • Check pages for “best practice” use of meta description tags in the page code
  • Check for any schema markup
  • Check for ADA compliance
  • Provide an easy-to-understand document with recommendations and possible results

For sites over 25 pages or ecommerce websites:
We can still do the basic review, but if more in-depth review is needed, for example, evaluating product pages or a shopping cart system, we can offer a more customized quote based on your exact needs.
